South to June Mountain ski area and Carson Peak
West of the June lake Loop is Mt.
Wood. there is a trail running
north-south on the east face of
Mt. Wood and if a person positions
himself on the south half of the
east face a reasonable class 2
route to the summit can be found.
NE to Mono Lake
North to Mt. Lewis 12,324', Mt. Gibbs 12,773',
and Mt. Dana 13,057'
SW to Banner Peak 12,936' and Mt. Ritter 13,143'
